AAUP Annual Meeting
The AAUP Annual Meeting brings together AAUP members and other scholarly publishing professionals to share experience, ideas, and knowledge in one of the most collegial professional events of the year. A Program Committee drawn from the membership develops a vibrant educational program of panel sessions, roundtables, and big-picture plenary talks. Pre-meeting workshops, special meetings, and social events round out the keystone of the Association's year. Registration and travel grants are regularly available for AAUP members.

Pre-Meeting Workshops
Each year, the AAUP Professional Development Committee organizes in-depth workshops held immediately before the AAUP Annual Meeting. Past workshops have included: a successful series of "Finances for Non-Financial People" workshops designed to help editors, directors, marketers, and others in university press publishing navigate the business side of our work; crash courses in e-book publishing organized by the AAUP Electronic Committee; and roundtables on fundraising techniques, e-marketing, acquisitions practices and more.
