Thomas LeBien is joining Harvard University Press as Executive Editor-at-Large. LeBien was most recently Vice President and Senior Editor at Simon & Schuster. LeBien has also held editorial positions at Princeton University Press and at Oxford University Press.
Gary Dunham is the new Director of Indiana University Press. Dunham was previously Director of Publications for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, where he co-developed and co-directed a book publishing program; he has also served as Director of SUNY Press and of University of Nebraska Press.
Ellen Chodosh has been named the new Director of NYU Press. Chodosh is a former Vice President and Publisher, Trade Division of Oxford University Press.
J. Kent Calder joined the University of Oklahoma Press as Acquisitions Editor for the regional Southwest with special emphasis on Texas-related topics.
In October, Adam C. Kane will also join the University of Oklahoma Press, as Acquisitions Editor for American history with emphasis on military history and the history of the American West.

Clara Totten has returned to Georgetown University Press as Digital Editor for Georgetown Languages. Totten interned in the languages department and afterward continued to freelance for the press on multiple Arabic-related projects.
Courtney Burkholder has rejoined Texas Tech University Press as Director. Burkholder was Sales and Marketing Manager at the press from 2004-2006; most recently, she was Director of Publishing for a K-12 publisher in Oregon.
Jennifer Crewe has been appointed President and Director of Columbia University Press. Crewe has served as interim director for the past nine months and has worked at the press for three decades.

Charles Watkinson has been appointed Associate University Librarian for Publishing and Director of the University of Michigan Press, effective July 1. Watkinson is currently Director of Purdue University Press and Head of Purdue Libraries' Scholarly Publishing Services.
Katherine Boller has been promoted to Editor at Yale University Press. She will continue to acquire a wide variety of art books, but her primary focus will be to grow and shape Yale's architecture and architectural history list.
Erika Stevens has joined the University Press of Florida as Senior Editor. Stevens was previously an acquisitions editor at the University of Georgia Press.
Stephanye Hunter has also joined the University Press of Florida as Acquisitions Assistant. Hunter recently completed her MA in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Texas, Austin and has interned at both the University of North Carolina Press and the University of Virginia Press.

Rick Huard has been promoted at Ohio University Press to Acquisitions Editor as of July 1. Huard was formerly a Project Editor at the press.
Linda Manning will join Northern Illinois University Press as its new Director on July 16. Manning spent the past two years as Marketing and Sales Manager at The University of Utah Press, and previously managed marketing at NIU Press.
Eric L. Miller has also joined Northern Illinois University Press as Marketing and Sales Coordinator. Miller is a principle and co-founder of Miller Trade Book Marketing.

Steve Maikowski retired from his position as Director of New York University Press at the end of May 2014. Maikowski led the press for 13 years, capping a 37-year career in academic publishing.
Bruce Wilcox retired from the University of Massachusetts Press in June 2014. Wilcox was with the press for 31 years—only part of his 43-year career in university press publishing.
John G. Ackerman retired from his position as Director of Cornell University Press on January 3, 2014. Ackerman was with the press for 33 years, and served as its Director since 1988.
Valerie Millholland retired on January 10, 2014 from her position as Senior Editor after 30 years with Duke University Press. As an end note to her career, Millholland was awarded the 2013 Distinguished Service Award from the Conference on Latin American History.
Robert Mandel retired from his position as Director at Texas Tech University Press at the end of 2013, after 34 years in university press publishing, including terms at SUNY, Indiana, Wayne State, Syracuse, Wisconsin, and Alaska.
Mary Lenn Dixon retired at the end of 2013 from her position as Editor in Chief at Texas A&M University Press, where she was a staff member since 1979.
Loomis Mayer retired from Fordham University Press at the close of 2013, after 24 years as Production Manager.
Patricia Hollahan, Director of Medieval Institute Publications, retired at the end of 2013.
Ann Walston, Production Designer at the University of Pittsburgh Press, retired on October 1, 2013.
Deborah Weiner will retire at the end of March 2014 from her role as Editorial and Production Manager at Georgetown University Press, where she has been for more than 15 years.
Laura Young Bost retired from her position as Rights and Permissions Manager at University of Texas Press on September 10, 2013. Bost was an active member of the AAUP Copyright Committee for many years.
James Jordan retired as Director of Columbia University Press as of September 1, 2013. Jordan led the press since 2004, and previously directed Johns Hopkins University Press.
Janet Rabinowitch retired at the end of June 2013 after a decade as Director of Indiana University Press. Rabinowitch was an acquiring editor at the press for 38 years.
Mary Read retired as Director of Washington State University Press in May 2013.
