Charge

University presses need to build stronger relationships with their campus administrators,  Over the next year, the Task Force on University Relations will explore a variety of evolving issues between presses and their parent institutions and examine ways presses can actively seek to improve campus relations.  The task force will  create a “tool kit” that will serve as a resource for directors. Task force members should represent presses from a mix of tiers and geographic regions, as well as public and private institutions. In addition, it should include members from a variety of reporting structures (to the library, to the provost, and so on).
