Annual Meeting Highlights

The 2004 AAUP Annual Meeting took place June 26-29 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Approximately 500 individuals attended. Registrants included staff of AAUP member presses, exhibitors, university librarians, staff from scholarly publishers not affiliated with AAUP, and speakers from a variety of backgrounds.

The 2004 program committee, chaired by Chris Szuter, developed and executed and program packed with interesting sessions and speakers. Audios CD's and MP3's of meeting sessions are available through Conference Media Contractors (http://www.cmc-net.com/).

Thanks to all of the meeting sponsors for helping to defray costs, and providing fabulous receptions.
